How To Tune An Upright Piano

When my wife and I bought our old farmhouse in Colorado, an old upright piano was left in the garage. Hmm, sounds like a fun project. Doing a bit of armchair research (OK, browsing in YouTube), I found a great DIY piano tuning tutorial by Josiah Jackson - The Piano Doctor. I may just have to give this a try and see what I can do to restore my “inherited” upright piano. I’m already thinking about painting it a distressed turquoise color and moving it into my studio.

FYI… this is the pianoscope–Piano Tuner app he recommends: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pianoscope-piano-tuner/id1529249459
