The Mont Blanc Range

The three mountains that you see on the road to Chamonix, their parallel ridges meeting and opposing in the foreground. The sky, faintly blue, enfolds the gray-pink of the central peak. Pines group themselves on the lower slopes of the conquering three peaks, and all three are crowned with snow.
