Gamblin Artists Colors Approach to Colormaking

At Gamblin, our mission is to lead oil painting and printmaking into the future. To us this means crafting materials as they ought to be, not just as they have been. Our luscious colors and contemporary mediums are true to historic working properties, yet safer and more permanent.

Recently I attended an open air workshop  at the 2016 Olmsted Plein Air Invitational here in Atlanta conducted by artist and Gamblin Artists Colors Product Manager Scott Gellatly. I've been searching for a high quality paint to use in my art. So I was happy to find and attend this workshop. It helped me see first hand that Gamblin paints and mediums meet that need!

This beautifully filmed promo video briefly tells the story of founder Robert Gamblin and Gamblin Artists Colors. The attention to craftsmanship and quality is clearly evident. This is the ultimate maker's story. And to paraphrase Dave Bowman in 2001: A Space Odyssey: "My God! It's full of colors!"
